Big Heat on D-Rod: Lied to the team, the general manager and even Michael Jordan
As we said in the pre-flight of Bobcats to Orlando, Rodman said that the starting 5 was Biyombo, Mullens, Outlaw, Hinrich and Walker. That didn't happened as Kemba Walker, the best player on Bobcats team, was on the bench on both games.
He played a total of 27 minutes in both games, leaving Lucas Lutkus and Michael Jordan very angry at Rodman.
'Sometimes it looks like that he wants to be bigger than his team. Kemba is our star, he can't sit on the bench' said Lucas Lutkus.
'I don't know why he did it, we are good friends and it was out of nowhere.' Said a disappointed Kemba Walker.
Dennis Rodman didn't answered his phone, a meeting with Michael Jordan and Lucas Lutkus is scheduled for today, after 7 losses, will the Bobcats already changes his coach?
Damn: Benching Kemba Walker brings back-to-back losses to Rodman's Bobcats
After his decision of benching Kemba Walker, the Bobcats lost to the Magic and the Pacers in two games where they didn't played anywhere close of what they played against the Heat.
All the team was very awkward with Kemba Walker sitting on the bench and without a big star to hold the ball, the Bobcats made a lot of turnovers.
Byron Mullens was one of the players that didn't understood Rodman's decision: 'We train with the guy, we know that he's a monster, a player that, if developed right, can win the MVP someday. We have absolutely no idea what happened.'
Luc Longley, one of the Bobcats assistant coaches supported Rodman: 'He's doing some weird changes at the lineup lately, but hey, it worked with the Heat so why don't try again?'
What's going to be Rodman's fate in the league? Is this another D-Will/Jerry Sloan case?
All of it and much more at the tomorrow's Bobcat Report!
