Re-Updating David Lee.
I don't think that he should be an 85 anymore, especially when there are better guys who are rated lower. He may have been hurt this season, at least up until now, but the dude isn't the same David Lee as before.
Last season, he was 18 and 9 with 2 assists. All on 52.3% shooting, which are great numbers, but they aren't 85 numbers, especially, when a guy like Favors is doing about the same thing.
This season, the system is different and David Lee is a 10 and 5 guy, who is no longer the 2nd option, or even the 3rd option. He's become the 4th option on a team that runs the offense thru Curry and Thompson on the outside and likes to get out and run.
He has shown a dramatic drop in his skills as well as his stats.
My vote is an 80

Well, personally I think 80 is too low for Lee and 81 is a little too low for Pek. I'd put them both in the 83-84 range. I'm giving Lee a slight benefit of the doubt type of rating here - He has proven to be a very good passer in NY, but now with Curry healthy and leading the team, he doesn't get asked to do that as much. Same with rebounding, he's still great there but he's not what he used to be, because he now actually plays with players who can also rebound, unlike some of his Knicks team. But I do think he should come down from the 85 he has been at the last couple years. I should also add that when Lee was really cooking I was one of his biggest fans and I may end up with the highest rating on him out of anyone, but yea, here it is.
Lee - 84
I'd put Pekovic at an 83 probably though.

I think Lee getting an 85 rating in the first place is a little stupid. I'd put him at an 81 with a little bit of extra passing.

I dont like the reason of the past prime big needing to go down just because Pek is not going up..

Really because he beats him in almost every major advanced stat, Lee is a slightly better rebounder but isn't a very good defender and offers no rim protection. Basketball Reference Pau and Lee Side by SideHow you could say that Lee is 4 points better than Pau Gasol is just mind boggling. Also the only thing that is proven with the Pekovic/Lee comparison shown by Charles is that David Lee and Pekovic contribute more or less exactly the same thing and David Lee should be an 81 like Pekovic.

Keeping an eye on this thread and around the all-star break there may be justification for a reduction since he hasn't played much this year.

I updated this thread, please vote. He is not playing well at all this year in this new system, it doesn't favor him. His stats are way down.
We need to vote and keep an eye on him like many other players who have threads up. I am not screaming for a decrease now, but in a month, month and a half, it will be very apparent that he needs to be decreased, just trying to start the conversation.

I agree with Hill and Barkley, I saw Golden State play and Lee barley got off the bench. I will say an 80.
