Current Rating: 84 Proposed Rating: 90
Goran Dragic had an MVP like season. He was the best "combo" guard in the league.
He put up 20 PPG on 50.5% shooting, while attempting 3.9 3's a game and hitting them at a 40.8% clip. The dude also got to the line 5.5 times a game, but he didn't shoot from the line very well, 76%. He came in with 3 boards a game and 6 assists with a steal and a half. These numbers, besides assists and steal, are a huge improvement from last years numbers. He did all of this on 35 minutes a game.
With a PER of 21.4 and a TS% of 60.4 to go along with a 56.1 eFG%. A FTr of 38.1 and a 3PAr of 27.4.
I really don't need to list all of these stats. Go look at the file or google doc. It is all right in front of you. But here you go.
G GS MP FG FGA FG% 3P 3PA 3P% 2P 2PA 2P% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS

A 10.3 total win share level is elite. He is the best combo guard in the game, and he needs to be recognized as such.

I admit he is really good and is a beast, but I don't think he is at the 90s level yet. I will vote an 85 for now. If he plays the same as last year than we can bump him up to 88-90

Look at the excel sheet please, the SGs one. I don't think there is a 2 point difference between him and Harden. They are both elite guys. Not to mention, Dragic doesn't have Dwight or Parsons, you know? Dude took a bottom of the table projected lotto team to competing for the playoffs. I think an 85 is blasphemy!!! You are entitled to your opinion, and I respect it. I just ask that you think things through. Why do we have to wait to bump him up, if he has already produced at that level?

RAISE speed he's one of the fastest players in the league. Ish Smith needs a rating boost, solely on speed to a 99. Andrei Kirilenko

84 is plenty high for Dragic IMO. He was boosted to 84 based on that performance, no reason to boost him again when we have no new evidence

Didn't we already bump him though. He has only been producing for a season

84 is plenty high for Dragic IMO. He was boosted to 84 based on that performance, no reason to boost him again when we have no new evidence Alex English made the original thread for him to be an 84 in Novemeber of 2012. At that time he was in the 81-82 range vote wise. The final process ended at the All-Star break of this season, and the thread was necro'd by Magic and the Lakers in February of this year. And it all ended at the All-Star break. If people thought he was a 81-82 back in 2012, then what is he now? He has gotten so much better, and I don't think there is an argument that he hasn't gotten better. After the thread was brought back up, everyone said 83-85 for now since he hasn't done it for a full season. And here we are, the season's over and he's done it. He is the best combo guard in the league. Other scoring combo guards: Bledsoe (just became an 82), Deron Williams is sitting at an 87 right now, Kyrie is an 85, Steph Curry is an 87 and Dragic did things very similar to what curry did, without the supporting cast. Dragic: Basic G GS MP FGM-A FG% 3PM-A 3P% 2P 2PA 2P% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS 76 75 35.1 7.3-14.4 50.5 1.6-3.9 40.8 5.7 10.4 .542 4.2 5.5 .760 0.9 2.3 3.2 5.9 1.4 0.3 2.8 2.7 20.3 Advanced PER TS% eFG% FTr 3PAr ORB% DRB% TRB% AST% STL% BLK% TOV% USG% ORtg DRtg OWS DWS WS WS/48 21.4 .604 .561 .381 .274 2.9 7.4 5.2 28.1 2.0 0.6 14.3 24.5 119 109 8.4 2.0 10.3 .186 And now Curry: BAsic G GS MP FG FGA FG% 3P 3PA 3P% 2P 2PA 2P% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS 78 78 36.5 8.4 17.7 .471 3.3 7.9 .424 5.0 9.8 .509 3.9 4.5 .885 0.6 3.7 4.3 8.5 1.6 0.2 3.8 2.5 24.0 PER TS% eFG% FTr 3PAr ORB% DRB% TRB% AST% STL% BLK% TOV% USG% ORtg DRtg OWS DWS WS WS/48 24.1 .610 .566 .252 .445 1.8 10.9 6.4 39.9 2.2 0.4 16.1 28.3 117 104 9.3 4.0 13.4 .225 Is Curry better than Dragic? Yes, in most areas. But is it a 5 point difference? Should Curry be an 89 (which is what he is getting bumped up to) ? Should Curry be a 90 or higher? I just can't live in a world where Dragic is lower or the same as guys like Kyrie, Lillard, Monta Ellis, and Wall. I mean, who did Dragic have? Lillard has LMA, Ellis has Dirk, Wall has a really good team. The suns were supposed to be in the top lottery teams, but Dragic carried them on his back all year. And he definitely deserves to be higher than those guys I mentioned for the time being.

He is the number 1 option of the Suns and everybody knows it. And still he knocks 50% of his shots. According to the compilation of Charles, he is the 2nd to Wade who has a Lebron and a Bosh! And Wade is a 90 while Goran is an 84? wow. The next star who has a higher/equal rating than him is Harden and Ellis at 45%. That is a 5% difference.
Dragic is not shooting well in the F5.
he deserves an 88. Increase the skills that is needed to make him an efficient scorer just in real life.
