I accept.
Even though this is future value and from teams that are pretty good right now, It is 3 1st round picks to work with asset wise going forward.
I like Eric Gordon just fine and he is a solid player but I just have too much repetitive talent at the 2 spot right now.

So you're going to gut your future for Eric Gordon and then split? How nice of you.

Why would you make a trade that essentially screws the Nets future for the next GM if you knew you were going to leave??

I don't get trading the picks and leaving. That should be something the new GM can do if he wants. Those picks can actually be good since they are so far down the road, and the NBA is where amazing happens and Kevin Garnett screams anything is possible. So I mean, those teams could be bad.

IIRC, he also promised the starting SG spot to Tyreke. So does the new GM have to hold to that promise?
Anyways, bye Billy, its been real.

This is going to be my last transaction/signing. I informed Ian a good three weeks beforehand that I would be stepping down and relieving my duties and I think now is about time. I think most of you are missing the point!

IDK about you but that Portland pick could be crazy valuable. There is a very real chance that half his starters retire at the end of this season.

IDK about you guys but I say let the new GM decide how much he overvalues Eric Gordon.

Thibs ran him so hard I wouldn't be surprised if he has more minutes played than Tim Duncan or Ginobili.

3000 more MP than Ginobili. It sort of evens out when you add the playoff minutes into it but Manu is like 6 years older than Deng.

I reject.
For a team that's rebuilding, if you trade three 1st rounders for the injury plagued Eric Gordon you're gonna have a bad time.

Well, this sucks.
Billy, WTF? When I told you our 3 way partner was backing out you made a big deal over doing this deal and I even made you a promise that I would do this if you would just give me another 24 hours. Why all the hoops to jump through if you were just going to leave...and tell everyone in the damn trade thread on top of that? You were pushing yesterday to go ahead and post this just to drop this bomb and have everyone reject it? WTF man?

If he is out we need to find a new Brooklyn GM asap while there are still some decent free agents. The Nets only have 5 players on their roster

I reject. Billy dun goofed.
I'm still not sure I buy that he is leaving. It doesn't make any sense to put weeks of time and effort into leaving an internet forum. Maybe he plans to come back under a different account so people won't know it's him and be nice to him again. Maybe he won't leave at all. Maybe he is crazy. Either way, things are definitely interesting with Billy around.
