Calm day in Charlotte: Bobcats vs. Staff in the training
In a calm day, with the players preparing for the game of tomorrow against the Magic, Michael Jordan, Dennis Rodman, Luc Longley and Ron Harper revived the magic Bulls during the workout. They played a 5-on-5 against the Bobcats starter. The other player on the Staff team was Mugsy Bogues. Gheorghe Muresan was the referee of the match.
The starters defeated the staff by 21 to 14 in a very fun game. The high-scorer of the game was Kemba Walker with 10 points.
Some of the highlights was a MJ fadeaway, Biyombo blocking Rodman and Rodman saying that Biyombo is now going to the bench after that, MJ letting Kirk on the ground for a lay up and Harper passing to the referee Muresan for a dunk.
After the fun game, the bench mob played against Matt Carroll, DeSagana Diop, Aaron Gray, Gheorghe Muresan and Lucas Lutkus! It was an easy game for the bench mob who defeated the IR+Muresan and Lutkus by 21 to 9. Great game by Nick Young, who scored 14 points.
Lucas Lutkus said some words after the game: 'Wow! It's really tough to be a basketball player (laughs). Well, i think it's very good to have times like this, with the old Bulls playing together, with Muresan, Bogues, all passing some of their experience to this guys. I tried to learn something from everyone too, but i'm better at sitting on my desk than in entering in a basketball court.'
Back to the original: Bobcats going with their normal lineup against the Magic and the Pacers
They're already in the airplane, the Bobcats are heading to Orlando to play against the Magics and before they go, Rodman announced at the end of today's training that they're going with their old formation for the next two games:
Biyombo is the center, Mullens and Outlaw as the forwards, Hinrich and Kemba as the guards. It's going to be the debut of Travis Outlaw and Rodman expects the bench mob to continue being a strong part of the team:
Pachulia as the C, Moon and Young being forwards, Williams and Miller as guards.
Let's wish two great performances by the Bobcats team!
