Oklahoma City ThunderKyle Lowry has decided to join the Oklahoma City Thunder signing a 5 year contract worth $62,000,000. The third year of the contract is a player option. Year 1: $11,800,000 Year 2: $12,100,000 Year 3: $12,400,000 (Player Option) Year 4: $12,700,000 Year 5: $13,000,000 This decision was very difficult as Kyle got many good offers. It ultimately came down to the Thunder and returning to Toronto. Bryan Colangelo did a great job this season and built one of the strongest teams in the east anchored by the frontcourt of Hibbert and Millsap. OKC offers a once in a lifetime opportunity though to play with someone as talented as Kevin Durant. They now have a trio of Lowry, Durant and Cousins, which is, without a doubt, the foundation of a championship team. As a bonus the Thunder also have more than $15 million in cap space to further improve the team. Kyle wants to thank the Raptors organization, he loved his time in Toronto and he wishes them the best of luck in the future.

Did OKC offer on Teague? He may end up being Tony Parker 2.0.

Did OKC offer on Teague? He may end up being Tony Parker 2.0. Not really. He said he was interested but put him below Curry, Lawson, Holiday, and Lowry in priority. He never made a specific offer.
