Chris Andersen in very serious trade talks
One of the biggest Bobcats fan-favorites, Chris 'The Birdman' Andersen may be on his way to the Sacramento Kings.
The GM of the Bobcats, Lucas Lutkus has announced in a press conference that the Birdman is close to be traded for Travis Outlaw:
'Well, what can i say? Everyone loves this guy, he's a hard-worker, he's cool with everybody and he's Rodman presence on court. It's going to be a tough miss, but Travis Outlaw is younger and is a need that we fill on our team.'
Rodman also had some things to say:
'That's the game dude. I loved that guy, he was just like me, old, crazy and likes to rebound. I'm gonna miss this sick motherf*cker, the whole team is going to miss him.'
Travis Outlaw, who wasn't getting a lot of PT in Sacramento is probably coming to be Bobcats starter, with Nick Young going to the bench.
John Hollinger getting considered for assistant coach job?
Even with a huge fight with Dennis Rodman, ESPN stats guru John Hollinger may get hired for the Bobcats.
Rumors say that he was seen in Charlotte for a business meeting and when Rodman knew that he was short and simple:
'If this guy appears in front of me, i'm gonna punch him in the face'
It is still unknown if John Hollinger's going to be the new Bobcats assistant coach. Lucas Lutkus and Michael Jordan refused to give answer any questions about this subject.
Meet the Bobcats oldest fan: John Shelby
With 101-years old, John Shelby is the oldest man alive in Charlotte and the oldest Bobcats fan.
The 101-year old grandpa said that watching and playing Basketball is his recipe for living and has already bought his season-ticket.
When asked about his hopes for the team about this season he said:
'Well, we can't pursue anything for now, our team is young and we need to wait a few more seasons to make a huge impact.'
He also added:
'Be sure that when the Bobcats wins his first championship, i'm going to be sit on the front row cheering for this team.'
What a wonderful story.
