Sorta but no.....tricky move since he's up for an increase to 71, means you would have had to go through Alex to sign him...but since he's still a 65 or whatever now I think it's fine you went this route.
HOWEVER
In-season FA offers for players under 70 can not have options in them. I think you'll have to take out that 3rd year TO...

Well, then I shall revise my offer to: YR 1: $490,180 YR 2: $525,000 YR 3: $555,000 Regulations Contracts that GMs create in free agency are limited to being between 1 and 4 years in length. You may not sign a free agent if the signing takes your team over the salary cap. The only exception to this is if it is to the league minimum contract. The mimimum increase to an offer for a free agent is $100,000.The maximum amount that a contract can increase or decrease each year is by 11% of the previous year in the contract. If your team has the maximum of 15 players on it's roster you may not bid for free agents. No more than two Free Agents can be signed in 1 week (real-time) by each team. Contracts offered to free agents rated 70 or below must not contain Team or Player Options. The Josh Barber Rule: You may not release a player for the purpose of re-signing them outside of the Off Season.

I'm not increasing my offer though. I mean, no one else is bidding. And I decreased the total salary offered by 20k.
If it makes things easier, I'll go with the first contract I offered but without the team option.

I assumed the 100k minimum offer was so GM's don't see a thread like this and go, "OK I offer 1 dollar more than the previous highest offer."

Good pick-up Mr. Barkley.
Cole Aldridge looked legit in the last 2 games of the season. He was on my watch list for sure, however performance depends on where he lands, since he's a FA IRL. Additionally based on 7 minutes a game I'm not sure he deserves a rating increase yet, but if he gets playing time I can see him making a contribution.

Technically Cole Aldrich hasn't been signed yet, because the correct offer has only stood for 21 hours, right?

I think T-Mac signed and cut him and his contract is now on the Pacers. I wanted to sign him for speculative purposes. He is a FA IRL, he could go to a new team with better playing time odds. Or if he re-signs with the Knicks, Phil will likely bring in a guy who will run the triangle and I think Aldrich will fit nicely in that system. Even more so if Melo leave the Knicks.
