What the fuck. How do we just add two pretty high profile guys to FA without any sort of announcement? This was definitely mishandled. I've been asking about this guy since last year's summer camp, and when he's finally available, he ends up locked up for 4 years on a shitty contract because no one is aware of him being a FA.

dynasty5ive.proboards.com/thread/2996/players-add-removeIs this the announcement? Ian responding "yes" to Miami's question? Sorry I didn't check all of the hundreds of threads in the stockwatch over the past 72 hours to see if any important players recently became free agents. For all the shit I got about Lance being much better off waiting until offseason FA to get more money, I can't believe Beverly and Bazemore would agree to these contracts with 90% of the league not even knowing they were available. Maybe I'm being dramatic here, but I just can't believe these guys were allowed to sign to teams without being properly bid on. At least when I cut Lance, everyone in the league knew about it. And, to top it off, Bazemore is a guy I've been targeting forever, and clearly would have put a better bid in than what Philly did.

Here or real life. Bazemore is the only one that got a realistic deal in my opinion. He put it in the little message thing on the bottom too.

I announced it on Twitter and Facebook and in the Shoutbox but should've posted an Admin Announcement also. I agree I could've done more, apologies Josh.

Maybe there should have been a BIGGER announcement so it didn't go unnoticed to some, but I'm pretty sure most people saw it and I know that there was a proper bid on both these free agents, at least in the case of Beverly. It took multiple days of waiting, increasing offers and negotiations before he finally signed.

Disagree. Beverly is going to command a bigger contract when his current deal is up. He is a starting point guard on the Houston Rockets playoff team. He plays tremendous defense and gets under all the superstar point guards skins. I say this is a realistic contract for him if you look into the future of what he will command in real life. If you look in real life there are BACKUP point guards making close to that contract I offered for Beverly. It's not out of the realm of possibilities.

I had 7 offers for Patrick Beverley, and I made my own statements in the shoutbox. That's more offers than most guys get during off-season free agency, so as far as I knew, it was very well known that Beverley was available. I can't speak to Bazemore.
