I accept this deal, I'm giving up guys that are not in my future plans and a couple guys that I'm not as high on as I was when I acquired them. And getting back some prospects that have promise and accomplishing my goal of getting Brooks and Richardson off my team. Perry Jones is a BIG maybe, and I'm getting maybe's who are proving themselves in the playoffs. Or had time during the season to prove themselves.

I Accept. I get some help for a playoff push in JRich/Calderon...and Calderon serves a double purpose as a backup PG who actually is starter-worthy, b/c I am looking at another trade where I might move Rubio. Crazy talk but it's true! I clear out some players who I like, especially Moe Harkless, but I think it is worth it here.

I accept. I plan on cutting Cunningham and Suton upon the completion of this deal to keep me under the 15 max roster.

Truthful note, I think this is a rare deal in which it benefits all 3 teams goals, both immediate and long term, and does a good job further enabling each teams current plans.

He's not that old, recent standards have been set that we allow a player to come back and see how they do before a big drop.

And IF he does come back..he will be a player coach on a young Sixers team. Nah, hes not old. So i guess players like Jason Terry really didnt deserve such a huge rating decrease. At least Terry played. Mike Miller took a hit as well. The Heat would not have won back to back titles without him. Nor would Memphis be in the playoffs. A decrease to a 72 is fair.

Go ahead and start a thread JR I don't care. I will also be making sure Calderon goes up a bit. But I don't think you will get the support you think you will get on JRich.
The difference between those guys is they gave been proving they are not that good anymore. JRich needs a chance to play again.

You're ridiculous www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/richaja01.htmlwww.basketball-reference.com/players/t/terryja01.htmlJason Richardson is still averaging 10ppg, and is still a quality role player. He went down with a major injury only playing 33 games. Jason Terry averaged 4ppg on career lows in everything and only played 2 more games than Jason Richardson. Get your mind right.

What Richardson is doing by sitting out is no different than what Derrick Rose, Kobe, and Steve Nash are doing. If you lower him majorly, then you have to lower those guys too.

Actually i think that players that are injured for an extended period of time should not be allowed to play anyway.
And holding a rating is different between a 30 year old average player and a star player thats still better than most avg players.
Nashs career is done. JRich is done.
Bryant is still Bryant until he retires. Although his rating is still yto high. And Rose was young and one of the best. If he doesnt return soon though i think hes due a decrease..

So 30 is too old to return from an injury and be the same guy for you. Any research involved in this? So, basically, we are now going to discriminate based on age as to if they can come back from an injury? Guy gets hurt at 30 and he's done-zo, but 29, nah dawg, he's still good. ***lot of sarcasm used here, just making sure it comes through though*** On a serious note, I think elite guys, such as Rose, Kobe, basically anyone we have deemed 87+ in my book get the benefit of the doubt if they have an injury until they come back. I mean there's LOTS of guys out there right now who are hurt that haven't been touched.

Or guys that got hurt last year and came back this year and had sub par numbers compared to the previous year before injury, but we didn't touch them.

I accept although you've got your 3 already.
It's a bit of a huge trade but it's not like there's any franchise busting assets included.
