Minnesota Timberwolves Trades 74 Darko Milicic $4,776,500 $5,228,000 $5,687,375 77 Anthony Randolph $2,911,231 $4,049,523
Total: $7,687,731
Washington Wizards Trades 74 Jan Vesely $3,065,040 $3,202,920 $3,340,920 $4,236,287 $5,651,206 74 Kevin Seraphin $1,680,360 $1,797,600 $2,761,114 $3,898,692 74 Chris Singleton $1,485,000 $1,551,840 $1,618,680 $2,489,530 $3,532,643
Total: $6,230,400
Using 125% rule, this works!
Once the trade is accepted, I'll drop Tolliver to make room on my roster.
I give up the highest rated player, and possibly still the highest upside here, and I get 3 youthful players to add to the mix on the TWolves. All 3 showed flashes last season, along with some down moments...but that's to be expected of youngsters.
Washington likes Darko for his team, so we found something that worked for both of us.
Accept.

I'm cool with this trade.
The primary objective of this trade is to boost my defense and have a backup bigs for Nene.
I do not have a backup center for Nene so Darko can fill that void in my roster.
I'd also go for Randolph to have me a solid PF (he's still raw though but he shows a lot of potential).
I want to grab as many quality players as possible (yes, Darko's included) as I am stuck with loads of bad contracts (Lewis, anyone?).
I may be giving away Vesely but I get Randolph in return which is a fair trade for me. Vesely still needs to show what's he's worth.
