Don't know if you guys saw this, but B/R is in the process of ranking the top 200 NBA players. They started with PGs first. I don't think too highly of Bleacher Report, and think they got some things wrong in this and maybe even mislabeled some players positions, but it is some nice food for thought. bleacherreport.com/articles/2010636-br-nba-200-top-37-point-guards-in-2013-14They just have the PG rankings out now.

Not gonna say too much if anything about the actual rankings right since I haven't read it.
But the metrics they are using looks nice
offense (scoring and passing), off ball offense (I assume shooter role and cutter), rebounding, intangible, defense, overall.

Lol McAdoo, that's all they do over there at B/R, make lists because either they aren't skilled enough writers to articulate arguments through words or because they feel their readers aren't smart enough to understand arguments in articles. Either or, I am not a fan of their work. But it has become more and more credible since Turner Sports bought them, their vetting process for their writers and contributors is a lot more thorough. I'll post the list in the next reply.

One thing I thought was odd was how high Bledsoe was ranked. But their metrics in off-ball offense and defense have him as one of the best PGs in the league in both categories. And they stated that if he was healthy 100% of the year, he would have been tied for 4th with Westbrook. But they didn't mention Dragic, I guess they consider Dragic to be the SG in Phoenix. Of anything, I would have thought that Dragic would have been considered the PG and they would have listed Bledsoe as a combo guard.
They are doing more rankings that will be released every 2-3 days it seems.
Combo Guards 4-23 SG's 4-28 Swingmen 4-30 SF's 5-5 PF's 5-7 Combo Bigs 5-12 Centers 5-14 Combo Forwards 5-16 Top 200 5-19

That was awful. Bleacher Report is basically the TMZ of basketball journalism. Half the stuff in there is just retarded. The intangibles section is especially retarded. Jeff Teague lost a point because the author doesn't think he's vocal enough, playing with nagging injuries was a negative for Deron Williams but a positive for Kyle Lowry. He barely brings up any stats, all his ratings are basically pulled out of his ass from the looks of it.

Rondo at 16??? Damn no respect thought bleacher report was better than that Its based off of this season alone which is why he is so low at 16. This season was basically a wash for Rondo and his career as the playing time he saw was spent as an extended rehab type thing. The Celtics are hoping and praying they land Wiggins and Rondo can throw endless lobs his way.

I kept scanning for Rondo. Finally found him at 16.
Normally I'd be mad, but that would be wasting precious time and energy on something that isn't worth it.
Just move on, clearly whoever wrote that article hasn't got a clue what they're doing.
