Current Rating: 73 Suggested Rating: 75
I'm not a huge fan of his or anything, but he does enough that he's definitely better than a 73. Just not sure how much better. 73 is just a little too low IMO.
9.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.1 ast/1.2 TO, 0.9 steals, 0.2 blocks. Shoots 44.2/38.1/76.1
His boost should probably come in his 3pt shot and FT%, as he's a career 68% guy from the line and I just kinda doubt we have his 3 up at a decent rate. Compare to Glen Davis and it's basically a huge advantage to Marcus for his 3pt shot, but less boards (although less minutes compared to Glen's time in Orlando).
I'm almost at a 75.5 but I'll leave it at a 75 haha.

Rookies come into the league with zero NBA experience (quite obviously).
We rate them based on a combination of factors, including their potential, their floor, their ceiling, their college stats, their athletic stats, etc.
That's basically how NBA Live always did it, and in an effort to keep things consistent, that's how we're doing them at this point.

I think 2 months should be enough to already say that almost, maybe except McDaniels, all of them are overrated. Can we at least decrease them by at least 1 right now.

Yes, any player rating change needs a thread.

Yes, any player rating change needs a thread. "A thread" but not necessarily "a thread each", we have lots of combined threads where a bunch of players get adjusted all at once.

As the head of the Ratings Committee though, I must say it is the most clear when there is an individual thread. It also encourages more discussion which leads to more accurate rating changes. Even if I or another member of the RC doesn't agree with the rating, we get a better feel for what the league thinks lowered when there is an individual thread.

I'll be honest Pinoy, I get paid exactly nothing to do what I do on Ratings Committee, same with everyone else here, obviously, and the huge post with multiple players makes my "job" 100x harder than if you create individual threads.
