Current Rating: 80 Suggested Rating: 83
16.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.4 steals, half a block, 41.3/30.4/81.6
You'll find those %'s are very close to DeRozan btw, although Gordon actually has a 36.5% career rate there so I don't think he's quite this bad from 3pt range. I'm tempted to go to an 84 to match DeRozan since gordon gets an extra reb & ast and more steals and more blocks (those last two are admittedly super close, just saying) with very similar %'s otherwise...but I think Gordon can improve on his play so I'll leave a little more room.
His play does deserve a boost from an 80 though.

I'm obviously a little biased but Haywards percentages have dropped since he is the main focus of the defense on a team with little other play makers, maybe Burke? 84 since I put demar higher too.

No change. He's playing for the worst team in the West, He's the best wing on the team. Clearly not the sum of their parts for whatever reason. Someone has to get those points. He's got the weirdest 3pt%s ever. In all actuality as his usage has gone up he's actually had a pretty sizable decrease in efficiency. Put in for his increase next season because if the pattern keeps going on like it has he'll be shooting 45% from 3. We all agreed that for Demar to get that increase it had to weight quite alot towards the athleticism end. Well the same here. Hayward does not get that benefit. This is less me trying to dissuade you from increasing Hayward as it is making me reconsider my DeRozen rating.

I would like to point out however that Hayward is one of only 5 player in the NBA this year with at least 16 ppg, 5 rpg, 5 apg. Obviously his efficiency has gone down but I don't think that's his fault as teams really only have to focus on him. He still is posting great all around stats even with the increased load and attention that's forced on him.

I understand that, I really do think he's a great player truly I do, I think he's gonna be an allstar once or twice in his career, just this season I'm not putting him above starter caliber for myself.

His usage% barely went up, 22.1 to 23.1 so the increased load isn't really an excuse for the inefficient year. .520 TS% isn't good.
80.

His usage stayed about the same, but how he was used was very different. There's a DX video about him. He was called upon to create more. Which lead to tougher shots, more turnovers. He wasn't just pump faking off a pass and driving. He was bringing the ball up and trying to create. Honestly think in Utah, Trey Burke is out. Exum and Burks works a lot better philosophically in my head. I'd probably rate these three guys: Kawhi, Parsons, and Hayward all around the same range, but all 3 have very different situations and potential.
