As we have been forced to rebuild, we have been speaking to several teams looking to trade to not get a steal but to rebuild while helping a good friend keep those players needed while trading him those players to help him contend. This trade helps us both. In the end I get younger talent instead of losing both Iggy and Ellis at the end of the season. Indy gets two players that included with the rest of his team and my vets give him a chance to contend. At seasons end he will have the cap to resign or go after other FAs to build off of. We wish him the best and look forward to trying to win with younger guys and rebuild.
We accept. Gl Indy...

Haha it's in the rules, every trade ever has total salaries and any options noted. If not, then I didn't look at the trade b/c I always call people on that.
Lose the attitude man

Imagine if this deal happened in real life.
"This just in! San Antonio has been traded for Indiana. What? Yes! The entire team!"

We need to hear from Indy first. I think on the whole he gets the bad end of the deal here. He's setting his lineup back to zero like he did last year. It's not exactly out of Pat Riley's book of ingenious GM moves.

That's fine. But you guys want me to make moves to get younger. He gets better. If he changes his mind because of anything find a new GM ok.

Imagine if this deal happened in real life. "This just in! San Antonio has been traded for Indiana. What? Yes! The entire team!" And actually it was 7 players each team. And if this league was 100% real we would not have committee members forcing gms to run their teams one way or another. Players would be valued off of what a gm likes and wants mo matter what other GMs think or feel. If a trade betters a teams chance at winning or if a gm feels that's best for his team trades for the most part don't get denied.

I accept this trade.
Where has the team I have got me?
Planted on the "TAMKING" list, I'm below 500. Now because I am in the East, I'm still in the playoffs. Therefore I have to prepare my team to beat the top teams in the East. This isn't the NCAA tournament and I'm not Kentucky. I would rather try to win than wait on prospects to build up.
I believe this team helps round out my starting lineup. I will get a scorer and a defensive glue guy. I get two proven guys who can help me make a run in the playoffs.

Holy shit. 7 posts in a row from JR, that has to be a record. We should give him an award. Anyway, I really like this trade for the Spurs. He's walking away from the potential disaster of striking out in free agency. This will give him a decent core of Pekovic, Chandler, and I guess Amare. But importantly he'll have a good young group of Williams, Seraphin, Porter and KCP to try and build some sort of future with the team. Next year is more of the same but going into next years free agency he'll have Nikola Pekovic, Wilson Chandler, Derrick Williams, Otto Porter, KCP, and Pierre Jackson under contract with about $30 million to spend. He could get out of the hole he's in and have a solid team to work with if he can sign a few good players. For Indy, I guess he wants to take a swing at free agency. He still has good players in West, Iguodala, and Ellis, but there is a lot of uncertainty with many of them having expiring contracts. If he's willing to risk striking out in free agency though, then I guess I don't have much of a problem with it. Though the Spurs definitely win this deal imo. I accept.

This sounds a lot like collusion between owners to me. Maybe my good friend will trade me KD so I can win this year while he tanks and then I'll send him back next year when it is his turn...
This stuff makes me very nervous.

Bob Apart from the players he's receiving though, who does Indiana need to re-sign? I don't know if it's such a big deal.

Lol. Aw. Guess what hes always been a good gm since the beginning. This trade helps us both. Nothing more. Im not new to the league nor would I ever cheat. Theres always that opinion about gms. Ive seen many gms on our league before that knew each other and went to school together. Think I ever complained. Ive never thought anyone was cheating me until recently when ny entire roster for the most part was put into the stock watch. But it is what it is. Im trying to move on and make my team into something special.

I allow ian to read or use my account. Never would I cheat. Its those that usually blame that truly do things. I work security. Those that get angry that we are there are the ones that lie, cheat and steal.
