OKC sends: 80 Marshon Brooks $2,000,000 $2,200,000 $2,400,000 $2,600,000 74 Perry Jones $1,361,200 $1,419,800 $2,180,813 $3,079,308 61 Alexis Ajinca $490,180 $500,000 Memphis sends: 60 James Mays $490,180 Accept. I'm paying Memphis Perry Jones to take Brooks off my hands. Couldn't find any other interest for Marshon. Was told I had one month to move him or cut him (and eat his salary for 3 years) since I didn't fulfill his starting role I offered. Would have liked to keep Perry but we'll move forward with 24 mil for free agency after this trade.

Sorry I'm going to reject this deal, you're just giving away players for nothing.

Blah might as well just delete it now since it'll be rejected. I'll look for a new deal.

I dont really see anything wrong here. Just clearing cap space for OKC stand point, and he has limited time to trade Brooks. OKC still has some great players on that team, so this trade wont hurt them. Memphis needs some youth and Perry Jones is a great addition for them.
I accept.

I'm actually looking at accepting myself. It's like Shaq says in his post...he has to give people a little something for them to take Brooks' long-term deal off his hands. Perry is that something in this case.
I don't love it but I understand it and it spreads some of the wealth/talent around the league which is good IMO...
I'll accept.

Marshon Brooks is really overrated and worth nowhere near his 80 rating. Perry Jones is years away from reaching his potential, if he ever does. It's kinda shitty that OKC just gives them away and doesn't even get a 2nd round pick back, but I get that he needs cap space to keep Teague and sign others. With Durant and Cousins the Thunder will be fine. So I'll accept.

Memphis needs to cut a player before this deal can go through.
