I accept. I am building around a younger core in Horford - Evans - Gay. Monta is a little older and he is expiring so I wasn't going to be able to re-sign him. I bring in the true PG I was looking for, another young piece to build around and someone that I hope will re-sign because I will add him to the young core. I also get to finally put Evans back to his best spot, the SG.
After trading Kaman I had no real solid backup C, which Blatche fulfills. I will be shopping Bass + Diaw + Hill for another PF. Dunleavy basically is a replacement for Marvin Williams.
Lineup after trade: Thomas (80) - Evans (83) - Gay (83) - Diaw (80) - Horford (86) Bench: West (77) - Lee (75) - Dunleavy (75) - Bass (78) - Blatche (77)

I accept. Unless a miracle happens resigning Thomas was near impossible. If we had the cash or a legit sworn promise it would make this much easier. Ellis has been playing great. We are about to see that come playoff time. Of course he will most likely leave as well but we need scoring. Im not going to say he will play well next too Iggy because we are currently looking to trade him as well. We have been looking for better deals and picjs for both but what's avail is what's not available or not going to happen. We think hill is overated. Glad to trade him. He was only added to my team because of salary in a trade. We also save cap in this trade. We ask you to accept.

It is a good move for you are aswell, you get a true PG but for 1 season only. You added cap space for next year, which will make it hard for you to resign Evans and Thomas now.

I'm not as enthusiastic about this as everyone else. After this mover the Wizards will have 58 million in salary for next season, so it will be impossible to re-sign either Thomas or Evans, let alone both. For the Spurs he's still at 64 million for next season and he gives up the better players in this deal, though it is definitely a step in the right direction.
I'll accept, but both GMs still have to make a few trades before this trade makes sense.

I'm probably with Alex more than the others but...end result would have been the same regardless.
It's possibly too little too late but if JR can now use Monta to trade to someone who will take on another couple contracts, he could have really made some progress.
Accept.

I think WAS hurt himself since there is no advantage to resigning your own player in this league.
