I accept. Gay completes a relatively younger core than I can build around with Evans - Gay - Horford. Diaw can still play and he is also an expiring which will help me out in the long run as well as Ellis. West will be my backup PG.
Starting lineup after trade: Evans - Ellis - Gay - Diaw - Horford.

I accept , JR smith is not a 82, should be lowered. This helps t-mac team now and saves them money for the off season to sign a PG

I accept and I am not sure I could have gotten a better deal for Rudy Gay. JR Smith, although somewhat undersized, can be the stretch that 3 that this team DESPERATELY needs. We bought Stephen Jackson in to come off the bench and play 15-20 minutes a game, not to be the starting SF. Unfortunately, Gay really struggled here which forced Jackson into action. Now, JR Smith should get TONS of open shots and I think he can make people pay big time. In fact, I don't know in any other team possesses a better combination of scores at the 1, 2, and 3 than us. In addition, West really helps make up the value between Gay and Smith. Even though we took him as a salary filler, Kaman maybe just what the doctor ordered; a true center. His stats are better than Diaw's and he will help us against GS. Overall I am very pleased with this trade and wish Rudy Gay, Boris Diaw, and Delonte West the best of luck in Washington.
