Well let's compare apples and oranges then. Both are fruit but 1 is red and the other is orange. Apples have seeds inside but some oranges do not. You can eat the peel of the apple but have to throw away the orange peel. Does that make the apple better or the orange? Kind of silly to try and compare and contrast them since, even though they are both fruit, they are so different. Bosh and Blake are both NBA players but they are not even close to 1 another as far as their game goes. Some of which is dictated by their individual situations and some of which by their physical gifts. Again, these 2 players couldn't be more different from each other. I will tell you what. Why don't you explain, from your perspective, why Bosh and Blake SHOULD be compared? Don't use stats, just compare the 2 players and let me know what they have in common. Because they are both players in the NBA that play the PF position and one is a lot better than the other one, as backed up by stats, the eye test, and every tangible measurement besides FG%, yet there ratings do not reflect reality. Nope. Chris Bosh plays center on a team where he is the 3rd go to guy. Blake plays power forward on a team where he is the 1st option. Blake is a freak of nature athletically and scores his baskets in a completely different way than Bosh does for the most part. Blake probably out weighs Bosh by 30 pounds or more and the power of his game vs the finesse of Bosh's game reflect that difference. We could all name 10 major differences in the offenses that both teams run as Miami and LAC are not similar in any way system wise. Again, they are apples and oranges but I assume you already know that since you have used the eye test on these guys.

I know it won't happen but humor me. Again, I understand they are different but, despite this politically correct world we live in, sometimes one person is clearly superior to another despite a difference in style and especially in the context of a basketball game.

Simple - Blake's numbers would go down and Bosh's would go up.

88 I still think he's behind Love and Aldridge (Non-biased) Do you think he's behind or tied with Bosh? Blake ahead, but not by much. Like we've all said, Bosh is in different and unique situation. As much as I think he's a soft player, he's still deserving of a 87-88 rating.

I say that his athleticism probably already has him where he's at, up his midrange to about average level and his post game to about average level. Then take his (should be horrible defense if no one upgraded him) and bring him up to average. That should place him at a 90.

The end result, again, would be this:

See I think you, out of all people, know I am right but don't want to risk having people make threads asking whether or not your ratings should be counted. Is his situation really that unique? Couldn't you say the same thing about most 3rd options? STAND WITH ME CLYDE; I KNOW YOU WANT TOO!

When you play along side LeBron, you play your role, simple as that. Wade has adjusted his game around LeBron's just as Bosh has.
Good luck going forward Vlade. I am done with this pointless discussion.

I am done with this pointless discussion. You don't think Blake and Lebron running a pick and roll together would be amazing? It's pointless because I am whipping your ass in this debate. Really, your argument is that you can't compare the two because they are different? That's like saying you cannot compare Obama and Bush because their policies are different. In fact, this debate mirrors Mercer (me) rolling over Duke (you)!

Your stances in just about every thread are pathetic and completely uninformed and if you don't see that, that should tell you exactly how much you think you know that you don't. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and my opinion is that you don't know very much about the game of basketball. You said in your rant over on the Bosh thread, to Ian I might add who works his ass off for this league, in response to his opinion on Bosh this "if you raise Bosh, I quit". I wasn't for raising Bosh's rating before but I certainly am now. Again, good luck going forward and have a great day.

Btw, I was totally joking about quitting....you guys need me. Besides, it took me FOR-EV-ER to be semi-accepted into the D5 community and I am not throwing that away now.
