Haven't seen a thread for him but I think he has been playing a lot better as a starter on the Wizards. Upped his 3PT% and is real good on the defensive end.

Those two players don't even play the same position, nor are they similar players.

Ariza is a more athletic player, Martin is a better pure shooter. And incredibly elite from the line, has been his whole career. Ariza has found a shooting stroke the past few seasons certainly, impressive statistically honestly, I like his game and liked his potential 10 years ago when he broke in with the Knicks.
I'd give him an 82 though, I just think you can find a player who is a lot more similar to Ariza than Kevin Martin.

Martin is the purest SG in the game basically. Not a PG, not a SF in any way, he's a pure SG. Ariza is really a SF with some SG tendencies.
They are not the same type of player.

Ariza is really a SF with some SG tendencies. I can agree with this. I'm glad you see why trevor Ariza is worthy of an 82 though. He's one of the better perimeter defenders and a great all-around player. I don't know why a stock watch thread was not started sooner. You are welcome  |

I agree with Walt that the Kevin Martin comparison isn't great. Kevin Martin is probably overrated in everything but FT's and 3's.
Ariza compares better to Jeff Green in my opinion. Ariza is probably a little less offensively than what Green is but rebounds and passes better. They both have that "crazy athleticism" that every GM falls in love with.
