I think another guy to compare Wesley to is Klay Thompson, who also is currently being evaluated.
Wesley vs Klay
PPG - 16.2 vs 18.2 FG% - .438 vs .443 3pt% - .394 vs .413 FT% - .837 vs .798 REB - 3.6 vs 3.1 Ast - 2.4 vs 2.3 BLK - 0.2 vs 0.5 STL - 1.0 vs 0.9 TO - 1.3 vs 1.7 PER - 15.56 vs. 14.04
Incredibly even stats. I'll give him an 80 as well

80 he's got really close stats to Klay and not just points and rebounds, all the stats 2.5 assists is pretty good and I'd bet that his passing has never been addressed.

I don't feel like he needs to change. He's just an average role player. 77 from me.

He's a lot more efficient than he appears actually. He shoots 43.8% but that is misleading since more than half of his shot attempts are from three. His 2P% is 48.2 which is higher than guys like Melo, Monta Ellis, Arron Afflalo, Rudy Gay and a few other guys with noticeably higher FG%s.
He's still not that great though and doesn't really contribute in any other way. I'll say 79.

Matthews numbers this year aren't as good as his 2010-2011 campaign. I'd assume that after that season, he was put in for an increase, at least that's what I would have done. Therefore, I don't think he should be increased.
He's regressed when it comes to percentages from his 2010-2011 season. His 11-12 and 12-13 seasons were worse than this season thus far. I think increasing him now isn't smart. This season doesn't seem to follow the trend of regression, and if in the 14-15 season he is better than now, I see no reason why he shouldn't be increased then.
This seems like a quick rush to judgement on Matthews. This year may be better than his career averages, but it isn't better than his 10-11 season when he was likely increased. comparing him to his peers in D5 shouldn't represent where he should be rated especially when so many players are currently overrated. There is an inflated baseline of ratings to compare players to. As for the Klay Thompson arguement, Klay's main numbers have increased every year in his career and he is clearly getting better. Where as Matthews isn't even as good now as he was in 2010-2011, and if everyone is overrated because they weren't decreased, I don't think that Matthews was decreased for his 2011-2013 years and, is thus, correctly rated.

Saying Matthews doesn't contribute anywhere else is a little misleading. I'll give you that he doesn't make any special or totally noteworthy contributions elsewhere, but he does grab 1.0 steals a game and has been higher before. His assists are really not too great for a guard but I've seen lower, he seems able to play team ball and make the pass when it is there basically. Rebounds are solid for a guard, he's basically pushing 4 a game. FT% at 83.7 is good and as Alex pointed out the FG% is actually solid considering how many he takes from downtown...where he shoots over 39% which is quite good.
All told I will go 78 for him.

85 because his numbers mirror Bosh's. This is getting ridiculous. Right, so go lower Chris Bosh so we can get back to reality!
