How many players do the jazz have to cut after this deal? If it's more than two doesn't it break that new rule? I'm on my phone it's hard to check.

Jazz have 14 players with one being sent out and 7 being brought in which leaves their roster at 20 players in total.

In other words yes, this trade goes against the more than two players being cut rule

5 of the 7 players going to the Jazz aren't players, they are just contracts. The player count for this deal is 2 to 1. Jazz don't have to cut anyone.
