Current rating: 82
Suggested rating: 77
He is not an 80+ player anymore. He is averaging 5.2ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.1apg in 14.7mpg. He has also only played in 19 games this year. He really hasn't done much since leaving the Bulls. In the five years since he is averaging 11.7ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.2apg in 24.5mpg. I think he can still be an effective player if he goes somewhere and plays a role but he is obviously not deserving of his rating.

EDIT: Changing my rating considering where the league thinks Rubio is (79), I can't imagine Gordon is w/in 2 points of Ricky Rubio.
Dropping my rating of Ben Gordon to a 75

Shouldn't be an 82, he's a different player than Rubio but doesn't have his "elite" scoring ability like he used to have while Rubio has "elite" passing and court vision.
Gordon has always really been a pure scorer. He can probably still get his if given the opportunity. I think he stopped producing before he stopped getting the opportunity.

I'm sorry, I don't understand why Rubio is even mentioned here? Find a player that is similar to Gordon. Even Kevin Martin would be closer if you want to target guys on my team like seems to be a mini-trend the last few posts from a couple people.

The only reason I mentioned Rubio is because they are both 82's. And I think all 30 GM's would say they'd rather have Rubio. Its a travesty that they are equals in this game. Was sticking up for Rubio, Walt. Because some people decreasing Gordon here are decreasing him back down to the same level as Rubio (Some people voting to lower Gordon, are lowering him as Rubio is being lowered and THEY MAY END UP AT THE SAME RATING AS EACH OTHER AGAIN) WHICH IS STUPID, if rating is the end all be all, which it seems to be most times, there can be no world where after these rating changes are finished that Gordon = Rubio. Really Walt, I was going to trade Bledsoe and Henson for Rubio and you think I'm trying to make Rubio worse here? Should he have been mentioned, probably not, but I was thinking who else is an 82 that is way better than Gordon, and Rubio came into my mind. They may not be exactly the same stylistically but they are both 6'3 guards. My point was that I'd imagine all 30 GMs would say they'd take Rubio over Gordon every day of the week and its crazy they are equals right now in this.

I was probably just on edge as another recent rating comped a player who wasn't really that similar to Kevin Martin, another one of my players. Feels a little like people drawing more attention to my guys and trying to get them lowered. BUT, yes I believe everything you're saying here and yes I agree, I can't imagine anyone would want Gordon over Rubio. It currently looks like Rubio will get a 79 for what it's worth. The highest rating I see in this thread is a 77 but there are a lot of those. Personally that's way too close so I get you.

It's ok Walt, I understand. I agree with you that these guys are still too close together in rating. But they are one complete opposite ends of the spectrum in real life.
The league is scared of the T'Wolves so they are coming in here doing ya dirty 0_0

Haha, yes my 7th/8th place floating for the whole season is really worth being scared over.
