Current Rating: 79
Probably got his 79 from the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons where he scored about 13 points and got 5-6 assists on 47% shooting...also shot well from 3 in 2011-12 at 48.6%.
Since then, his shooting has hovered around 41% (other than 19 games this year with the Bucks at 48%...his other 116 games in the last two years are at 40.8%). He's scoring a solid amount of points b/c teams let him shoot, but as I just said his shooting is inneficient. With the Bobcats in 2012-13 and 2013-14, in those 116 games, he shot 30.8 and 22.1% from 3.
Most importantly for me, his assists have dropped down to under 4 per game, even though he still gets pretty similar mpg (he's around 25-26 this year, and has been between 21 and 30 his whole career.
He's an exciting guy at times but not necessarily efficient or all that great when you really look at everything.
Suggested Rating: 76. Right around guys like Hinrich (what I think Hinrich should be anyway)...just above guys like Barea.

I refuse to believe that he magically got worse than being a 79 ok backup. Seriously if he was still on the Bobcats he'd be averaging his normal stuff.

He was worse on the Bobcats than he has been with the Bucks IMO. He was shooting about 40% from the field and 28% from 3 on the Bobcats. That's very not good. And his assists, with the Bobcats, dropped to under 4 a game. The points are b/c the Bobcats don't have a ton of options at guard who are competent.
I'm not looking at a big decrease, I just think he's overrated at 79. 76-77 is appropriate. If he stays at 79 then this league is saying the following:
Ramon Sessions - 13p, 4a, 2.8r, .6s...44/31/80 %'s = 79 Isaiah Thomas - 20.7p, 6.4a, 3.0r, 1.3s...45/35/85 = 80
WTF? Part of that is IT2 should be higher than an 80, but part of that is Sessions is not a 79.

Oh, I guess the automatic assumption I had was that he went to the Bucks and got worse. Can you blame me, but I guess that's what assumptions get me. I guess I can't argue a 79 anymore. I'd say 75 then.
