not a bad loss to the Easts second best team currently. I do have to say our team being mentioned several times as of late as of screwing up our franchise. We will make the playoffs!! That's what it's about...getting into the post season and getting better each year. If the rest of you want to tank go ahead. Our franchise will never tank. We win!!

San Antonio Spurs vs. Detroit Pistons (Win 91-89; 18-7):   Game 25 for DET is the 2nd game of the nationally televised Christmas Day double header. DET wins a nail-biter edging out the SAS with a 25-22 4th quarter. The win brings a small amount of much needed pride to the bankrupt city of Detroit. Detroit stands 2nd in the East, 2.5 games behind MIA and 4th overall behind GSW, MIA and OKC.

Neither team shot the ball well and DET won the game at the FT line where they outscored SAS by 16 points, led by Jesus Joe Johnson who scored 26 points including a perfect 7/7 from the line. Pterodactyl Jennings had a good floor game with 8 assists and zero TO and Emeka Okafor chipped in 15 rebounds and 3 blocks.
