His career FT% is buoyed by 5 meh seasons and 1 good season from the line, all the first 6 years of his career. He's been sub 70% for 4 years and sub 63% for 3 years in a row. This isn't about his OVR. Heck raise some passing/defensive stats to balance out his OVR so it stays the same.
63% from the line is absolutely atrocious for a guard, and he is a guard regardless of the fact that he plays the 3, which is more of a testament to his defensive skills than anything which is why I didn't say anything in my original post about it.
63% he's not a 7 foot tall rim protector where that kind of percentage would at least not be the worst.
When I look at any team they will have a weakness, when I look at GS I see FT shooting being pretty much their only weakness. But Dwight is shooting 71% and Iggy is shooting 76%. That's not even remotely close to reality.

That's not even remotely close to reality. I think that any arguments for keeping Andre at his current rating will have to at least concede that his FT% is too high. I will concede that it should be properly adjusted to real-life percentages, but beyond that I don't think that anything else should be changed. I think Chris' point about 2012 Olympics is pretty important, honestly. He's an Olympic caliber player. Putting him in the ranks of these players: Tyson Chandler, Kevin Durant, Lebron James, Russell Westbrook, Deron Williams,Kobe Bryant, Kevin Love James Harden, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Anthony Davis(Blake Griffin). And I also think that Chris adequately addressed Jeremiah's relentless insistence on some sort of decline in Philly. And as for the PG comparisons, I think people jumped on the hype train too fast, and Barber I'd actually put Iggy defensively over George. It's hard to accurately measure George's defensive impact when he's always had a monster defensive center behind him in Hibbert - as well as the tough attitude of that entire Pacers team. Iggy, on the other hand, has displayed his defensive value on three separate teams.

Well I watched the Gasol Brothers almost beat team USA by themselves so they should both be 99s right? If you take Iggy off that USA team they still destroy the world like they did so I don't think the Olympics is really a great comparison.

Just chiming in a little...
While the 2012 Olympics part does have some merit, we are also nearly two full NBA seasons removed from that at this point, so it is possible we have new information, and Iggy may have declined a little since that time.
His FT% certainly needs a drop, and 88 does feel a little high for me.
I'd say 86.

It's not that he contributed significantly to the medal, but that he was selected with those caliber players.

Quick opinion - 85, I don't think he's had a real drop off. He's scoring less but shooting just as efficiently while continuing to do a wide range of things on the court, feels just like a matter of an initial rating that we failed to address in the past few seasons.
