Total: $10,974,653 Oklahoma City Thunderreceive: 78 Omer Asik - $9,110,000 - $9,600,000 - $10,000,000 - $11,000,000
Total: $9,110,000
send: 80 Kendrick Perkins - $8,477,437 - $9,154,342 Oklahoma City 2014 1st Rounder
Total: $8,477,437 I accept. I've been shopping Ray Allen and Brandon Bass for much longer than I was shopping Rondo, but obviously it's harder to put together a deal for Allen and Bass. Enter Mister Undefeated, 18-0 start-to-the-season, Golden State Warriors with an offer of Omer Asik for the two of them, which was something I could work with and I've managed to get another first round pick, although the Thunder are now so stacked it's obviously a very late first rounder. Really this trade might be all about how it affects the race for 1st Seed in the West!

I'll accept.
This trade really works out for everybody. Talent wise it kinda sucks for Boston but I'm assuming that's the point. He adds a fifth 1st round pick for the 2014 draft while also increasing the value of his own pick with his highest rated players leaving. It's tempting to reject though because it benefits my two biggest rivals for the Western Conference battle.

Accept.
Been looking for a big man to replace Perkins. Durant-Cousins-Asik is a frontcourt I can roll with.

I personally think it's very silly for the Warriors to do anything to their roster at all. NBA Live does some funny stuff. At least wait til you lose a game!
But, I'll wait for the parties involved to agree to this trade.

I know it seems stupid to make a trade when your 18-0 but I feel like this trade makes us a better team. Since I signed Dwight Howard Ive been trying to trade Asik for a more natural PF and preferably someone that can make a jump shot and shoots a high % from the free throw line. I feel that Brandon Bass will give solid production replacing Asik and can come close to replicating Asik's production so far this season.
Even though he is much older and has lost a step Ray Allen is still 1 of the best shooters in the league and by putting him on the floor with Dwight Howard and several other good shooters I believe Allen will be able to contribute some scoring from off the bench. Allen would currently be our 6th man. Ive tried to assemble 1 of the best 3 point shooting teams ever and adding Ray Allen only further helps that.
I've tried trading Asik to numerous teams but could not deal him without the other team wanting MCW included in the trade. I feel like this trade gives my team greater flexibility going forward to make another move to get a potentially better PF than Brandon Bass as well.
I accept.

This is a brilliant trade for Boston and OKC.
However, I don't really understand this for Golden State. I know one of your primary concerns has been leaving enough cap room open to re-sign Iggy this offseason, and making this trade basically guarantees that you won't be able to do that. Ray Allen is going to get a decrease as soon as someone makes a thread, and Brandon Bass may not be worth a 78 either. It just seems like Golden State is giving up the best player in the deal and also taking on two bad contracts. Not to mention he is 18-0 and has decided to mess with his lineup.
I offered you Boozer for Asik about a month ago and you said you couldn't do it because of the salary for next season... yet now you trade him for two lesser players with the same salary? I just don't really understand.
Anyway, I don't think its a smart move but I guess its not rejectable. I accept.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinions. Josh you offered me Boozer for Asik but also wanted Terrence Jones in the deal. I feel like Terrence Jones should be my starting PF but hes currently rated a 70 which is crazy to me so Bass will fill that roll for the time being.
Yes 1 of my top priorities is to try & resign Andre Iguodala in the off season and sure it looks like I wont be able to do that now but trust me when the time comes to do so I will have the cap space needed. Im basically taking on $4 million dollars more by making this trade. I can clear $4 million dollars from now to the time free agency begins if thats what it takes to resign AI.
If some of you think Im crazy and dont know what Im doing thats fine. Ive given careful thought to this trade for some time now and looked it at it statistically from a variety of different angles and feel confident about making it.
So Bass and Allen are both going to get rating decreases now? Theyre both putting up almost identical numbers to what they put up last year which nobody apparently thought they deserved decreases then. If theyre getting decreased then there are several players around the league playing for the other contenders that need to have rating decreases as well IMO based on their real life productivity but really dont feel like getting into all that right at this moment.
As stated previously I think this trade makes us a better team & gives me more flexibity going forward and Im very confident about the Golden State Warriors both now and the direction we're going for the future.

Have you not been following Ray Allen this season? worst fg% since his rookie season, career low 3p%. I thought we had already discussed decreasing him but I didn't see a thread anywhere so I guess not. Anyway, I have no doubts that he will be decreased as soon as someone makes a thread. Like I said, this isn't a rejectable trade because you've proven yourself to be a great GM. I'm just giving my opinion since I have to vote on it

Josh I completely understand your points. Yes I have looked at Allens FG% and while it is lower than its been in the past I still feel his productivity in this league is to good to pass up on at this point. I know it seems like a risky move for me for a variety of reasons but I feel good about it. I feel like I get 2 quality trade assets for the price of 1 which will allow me greater flexibility going forward.
