In an all-offensive game, the Celtics defeats the Bobcats
It was an easy win to the Celtics and Bobcats main problem remains the same: the 1st half struggle.
The Celtics went to the locker room leading by 31 points and only in the 2nd half the Bobcats played well.
All started with everybody wanting to know what was Rodman's outfit. Biyombo showed a nice, serious suit in the pre-game interview. Rodman agreed, but he said that the he was only wearing the clothes, his hair and makeup weren't included in the bet.
Rodman showed up as: Bettlejuice!
After the first introductions for the Bobcats, the tip off:
Celtics were with the debuting Eres Kanter as their C and Bobcats had the same starting 5 from previous game.
Rodman explained in the pre-game that their main plan was to stop Rondo. According to Rodman: 'the rest is sh*t that were old by the time i was still a player.'
The old sh*t have killed Bobcats.
Garnett scored 36, Allen 25 and Pierce 16 and the Celtics won easily: 121-94.
Rondo was indeed stopped, with a carrer-low 0 assists! And in the post-game interview said good things about Kemba Walker:
'This Kemba guy is gonna be a superstar man! He's a great defender, a scorer and a playmaker! Mark my words when i say that he's going to chase for the MVP in the next seasons!'
Kemba scored a Bobcats game-high 21 points and gave 7 assists. His deffensive effort was great, he stopped Rondo, that made only 13 points and had no rebounds or assists.
Quick Notes:
- The Bobcats outscored the Celtics in rebound by 7, but lost the game in the turnovers, Bobcats had 14 and the Celtics had only 3.
- Garnett totally dominated Biyombo, who had 9 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks only. Biyombo also had 3 turnovers, 2 of them were steals by Garnett.
- Maggette and Young scored 18 points each, but were bad on defense. Paul scored 16 and Allen 25.
- Andre Miller debuted playing 11 minutes and contributing with 6 assists! Great debut!
- Chris Andersen also debuted, he played 25 minutes and scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
- Also playing a lot was Aaron Gray, who played 23 minutes. He had 8 points and 10 rebounds, the best player on Bobcats bench
- In the next game, Bobcats are still going to play at home, they receive the Utah Jazz, who's coming from a win over the Suns at Utah.
Kemba Walker: the main contender for ROTY trophy?
22.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 6.0apg.
In the first 3 games, that's Kemba's averages. The main player of the Bobcats is in his rookie season and alongside with Kyrie Irving and Ricky Rubio are one of the Rookie Of The Year trophy main contenders!
Kemba is only 21 and such a great average makes the Bobcats Owner Michael Jordan feel proud:
'You know, seeing such a great prospect like Kemba Walker here in Charlotte is surely great, we know he's going to be one of the superstars of the league and we hope he brings to the Bobcats what i brought to the Bulls: Rings.'
Kemba was #9 pick by the Bobcats and already shows himself being one of the best rookies in the league.
If Kemba is a monster now, can you imagine in a couple of years? There's a light in the end of tunnel for the Bobcats!
