Celtics receive:77 Richard Hamilton - $8,000,000 - $8,000,000 77 George Hill - $9,000,000 - $8,500,000 - $8,171,000 - $7,549,690 - $7,024,224 83 Shawn Marion - $9,066,796 PHX 2015 1st DAL 2014 1st BKN 2015 1st
Total: $26,066,796 Mavericks receive:87 Rajon Rondo - $11,945,545 - $12,909,091 80 Ray Allen - $6,750,000 - $6,950,000 78 Brandon Bass - $6,750,000 - $6,950,000 Draft rights to James Ennis.
Total: $25,445,545 Like Danny Ainge in real life I'm acquiring as many first round picks as I can, but unlike Ainge I'm trading Rondo instead of making him my captain and giving him an extension. Rondo is pretty much my favourite player in real life so this hurts. A lot. But this pretty much completes the quick rebuild that started last off season when KG and PP were sent to Cleveland for draft picks. Dallas also gets Allen and Bass and their lineup could contend this season. The scariest part of this trade is the length of George Hill's contract, but he's a solid point guard for a contending team, in real life, and I like to see him as my new Dennis Johnson in what I hope will be a rebuild that eventually allows me to contend (obviously). I accept.

Mavericks accept. Fully aware of Rondo's current struggles but I could not pass up the chance to go for one of the league's best court generals(when healthy) without having to give up Dirk or ET. Bass is still solid, and though Allen is fading - I still think his skill set will be a good addition to this Mavs team.

Didn't we have a few instances of this that we just ended up queuing for that date?

Surprised Ian shipped Rondo out for so little. Those picks are likely not going to be very good. Just my opinion though.
