He could average better stats if he weren't playing for such a stacked team. I think 79 is a bit drastic. I'd go for an 82 or 83.

Also it's not all about the stats, KG is a Top 50 all timer and a certified psychopath.

I think that's a bit of denial Ian. Guy isn't bad, and maybe the 79 is low in the original post, but we have to go based on what we see. The truth is, NBA Live will make guys like Garnett out-perform their rating anyway, but I have trouble rating the guy I see on the court right now anywhere above an 80....which I think is too high.
I'd go 78, only that high BECAUSE of him being such a great all-time player (and certified psychopath).

I still can't go lower than an 80.

Shooting 36.7% from the field? 6 Points, 7.5 boards?
Wondering how many other players with stats like that are above an 80.
Maybe it's a little early to drop him that far but if he keeps this up all year he's gotta be down in the 77-78 area. For now I could see 80 at the high end personally but that might be a little quick overall.

21 mpg, 6.8 pts, 6.6 reb, 1.5 ast to 1.2 TO, 0.8 stl, 0.7 blk....FG% down to 44.6% when he was 49.6 last year and 49.8 for his career. Offense is clearly struggling, seems like his rebounding and defense still have some life but I do find it hard to have him over an 80 with those #'s.
78 (still) for me.
