D.J. has decided to take a little more money up front, at the risk of only signing a one-year contract. He does believe that he will play well enough that this team will pick up his option, so he's hoping this is a 3-year deal for more money than he was getting anywhere else!
Year 1: 1,000,000
Year 2: 1,000,000 - Team Option
Year 3: 1,000,000 - Player Option
