I've called this press conference today to announce my client, Tristan Thompson, has made a decision on where to play next season.
The terms of the contract are:
Year 1: $5,000,000
Year 2: $5,550,000 (PO)
Year 3: $6,160,500 (PO)
Year 4: $6,838,155 (PO)
Year 5: $7,590,352 (PO)
Total: $31,139,007

SAN ANTONIO SPURS
Tristan was one of the most highly coveted young players I represented this off season. Several good teams, including a couple of playoff teams, made tremendous offers. Promises of exotic sports cars and lavish homes were on the table. Tristan's decision was not an easy one, however in the end he felt SA was the best place to take his talents where he'd get plenty of playing time and contribute to the team. He was promised a starting position and Mr. Wiles offered him player options in future years if Tristan decided SA wasn't the place for him.
Tristan also wanted to convey his thanks to each and every team that sent offers. All the owners were fantastic and treated him as part of their teams.
