David and I visited Indianapolis at the beginning of the week. Larry Bird personally drove the limo that picked us up at the airport. Impressive!! He wined and dined us for two days in the hoosier state. We had a meeting with the team on the second day and the players made David feel wanted, appreciated and right at home. We then talked contracts and player options. Negotiations went very well and David was very happy with the money.
David also wanted to convey his thanks to each and every team that sent offers. All the owners were fantastic and treated him as part of their teams.
