Andrew Bynum is pleased to announce that he will sign with the New York Knicks for the following contract:

Year 1: $13,452,122
Year 2: $14,452,122
Year 3: $15,452,122
Year 4: $16,452,122 Player Option

Bynum received more offers than any of my other free agents, and bidding was very competitive for him. However, New York was one of the few teams who did not try to completely undercut him in salary and also provided for an opportunity to win some games and start at the center position.
