Nicolas is very happy in Minnesota and Walt Frazier made it clear money would not be an issue from day one of free agency. A few teams provided some interesting opportunities but there was simply no good reason to leave the Timberwolves.

Someone else out there offered basically the same amount so I'm not alone.
