Golden State WarriorsJamal Crawford has signed with the Golden State Warriors. 2013/14: $6,000,000 2014/15: $6,660,000 2015/16: $7,392,000 2016/17: $8,205,186 Total: $28,257,186 After the Atlanta Hawks bowed out of the race to sign Jamal he was left with only once choice, but it's a choice with which he feels happy. Golden State's offer was tainted by it being for a sixth man role but the enthusiasm with which they recruited Jamal, and the growing strength of the team that's been compiled in Golden State, eventually won him over. Mr Crawford would like to thank Dominique Wilkins and the Hawks organisation for his time with the team and their pursuit of his services, but Jamal is taking his talents to San Francisco.

We're very excited to have Jamal coming to play in Golden State! He brings 13+ years of NBA experience with him to G-State and still one of the best crossovers in the game!
Jamal will be instant offense off of the bench for us and could possibly see some time in the starting lineup with Klay Thompson serving as our 6th man, we will have to wait and see how things play out once the season begins.
One thing for sure is with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Jamal Crawford teams are going to have to think long and hard about doubling Dwight Howard in the low post and risk giving these guys open looks from behind the arc.

You are 100% right about opposing teams not wanting to leave your shooters open, but I can tell you right now the Sacramento Kings will NOT double Dwight Howard. Your team looks a lot like the 2009 Orlando Magic, and not doubling Dwight became the blue print to beat that team. I will give you props though because I am going to need to acquire a big center or two for the sole purpose of putting a body on Dwight in the post and I would advice the other teams in the Pacific, as well as contenders in the West, to do the same.
