Meh... He's no Alex Len, but he's going #1 next year for sure. He could lose an arm and I'd draft him first. ;D #Monster #Beast

It's true, anything can happen, but Barnes didn't receive the Lebron treatment. Wiggins is getting that level of hype now. It'll be interesting to see how he does at KU.

Alex Len>Andrew Wiggins On a more serious note, it's funny how people already say Wiggins is going #1. Remember when everyone, without a doubt, said that Harrison Barnes would be going first overall and look what happened. not even close to even being comparable Wiggins and Parker are ONCE in a generation talent like LBJ, Melo, Wade. Barnes is not even close to that he is more once in every 2 years type talent and even at that a all-star talent is his peak. Wiggins has HOF peak which Barnes doesn't.

He's eighteen years old and you're already comparing him to LeBron James and Wade? Get real, he hasn't done anything significant to even stand alongside such players. Same thing could have been said about those guys 10 years ago When LBJ was compared to Magic and Jordan and Bosh to KG in 2003 draft. And in 2007 when Oden was compared to Bill Russell and Kevin Durant to Tracy McGrady and Dirk Nowitzki. they didn't do anything, but that isn't the main point, the point is some of these guys are once in a generation talent Wiggins and Jabari Parker are two such players for this generation.

From what I've seen, Wiggins is SO much better than Jabari Parker. Jabari's athleticism lets him down. Right now I'd take Randle and Smart ahead of him for sure.

2014 is quite similar to 2003.
Wiggins = Lebron Parker = Melo Randle = Bosh Smart = Wade
Obviously it wont be identical, I just think there's a window for those parallels to exist.

I think the hype of 2003 is there but that's where I think the comparisons stop. Wiggins is definitely a once in a generation prospect but he is nowhere near the prospect James was. Lebron is a way better facilitator and scorer than Wiggins. Parker is most likely going to be a power forward at the next level. I think he is a fluid scorer but not as explosive as Carmelo. Randle is way more physical than Bosh. Bosh has more of an outside and midrange game with better low post moves. If Randle can get a go to move he would be very good in the post, but right now his physicality is what helps him score in the paint. I would say the closets comparison would be Smart and Wade. Undersized two guards that can run some point guard and are ball dominant. Smart will definitely need to work on his shot but he can get to the rim just like Wade.

We'll just have to wait and see who MJ takes for Charlotte.
