6. Jared Dudley 78 15.4 7.8 2.7
7. Luis Scola 79 6.9 7.1 2.6
Advantage: Rondo, Allen, Pierce, Faried, Bosh, and Brooklyn’s bench.
It will be the big four of Boston verse the newly put together Brooklyn nets. This is your classic New England-New York matchup. Brooklyn looks a little outmatched in this series. They do have one thing on their side though … YOUTH. Rondo is the lone young guy in the Boston starting lineup. Can Nelson, Brooklyn’s oldest statesman, act as a steady force, or will he be outmatched by Rondo? Allen is a shooter, but Dragic should be able to stick with him. Allen will find his open shots, and you know those shots are going to hit jackpot. Pierce has heart and is the team leader. He is the best player in this series. Gallinari is a scorer who has a really nice shot. Will he be able to score enough to help his team over the hump, while playing good enough defense on Pierce to slow him down? Faried is a beast on the board. He will have to battle Bass and Garnett for the rebounds. Bosh is actually putting up good rebound numbers. This might be the matchup of this series. You have the defensive Garnett going against the offensive Bosh. Who will win this powerhouse matchup? Dudley is a nice bench player, being able to score and rebound. Will the young gun Burks be able to play with him? Kanter should have a good series, having to go against the older Scola. This should be a really close series and one that could go the distance.
