Bismack Biyombo *FROM CHA* 2013 CHA Draft Pick Unprotected 2015 CHA Draft Pick Protected Top Five
for
Greg Monroe *FROM ME*
Do you guys think this deal is awful? It's based off of in game potential, not real life. I have Gortat who is doing what Monroe is doing, but with 1.9 BPG over his 0.6 BPG. I get a pick in the current draft, one I think could be a top pick, a pick in a better class, and a player that can help me bring together "the Bad Boys v.2."
20 Year Old - Biyombo is averaging: 9.4 PPG, 8.7 RPG, 1.3 APG, 1.1 SPG, 2.2 BPG in 30.7 MPG. 23 Year Old - Monroe is averaging: 23 PPG, 9.4 RPG, 1.7 APG, 1.7 SPG, 0.6 BPG in 36.4 MPG.
Then I have Gortat... 28 Year Old - Gortat averaging: 19.8 PPG, 9.3 RPG, 1.5 APG, 1.0 SPG, 1.9 BPG in 35.5 MPG.
I don't think this is an awful trade at all on either team's behalf. What do you guys think of it from my point of view?
Thanks, Blake Bowman

Biyombo is a bum. Monroe has all star potential. No way I'd make that deal.

Blake mentioned game potential, so would this be under NBA 2k mechanics? cause then it's a completely different scenario. I might actually consider it considering 2k tends to overrate potential on certain players.
But yeah, normally I wouldn't do this - talent gap too wide, you also haven't mentioned the state of the Bobcats in this scenario so it's pretty hard to put a tag on those picks.

I also noticed the game potential bit and right away thought this was 2k related. If so then we'd have to know the rating of both Biyombo and Monroe, and their development rating.

No, it's Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball 3, the Commish was Michael Jordan here. I did it because of the pick, but it's only three sims into the season so I think his team won't be great. Now in the CBox Commish said he made the rookie class and that it sucks, which sucks because earlier he said he downloaded a class, so IDEK. XD lol

Trading a near all-star big for a pure potential big (who is extremely raw still) and a pick in a really weak draft (maybe the weakest in a decade). I would not say yes to this.
