U.S. government secretly collecting data on millions of Verizon users: Report news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/us-govt-secretly-collecting-data-millions-verizon-users-013542225.htmlUsually I am not a politics guy and honestly could careless about it, I am pretty numb to it actually. But this really bothered me, it looks like George Orwell prediction of the future came true, that the "BIG BROTHER" will look out for you in a different way, it feels more and more each day that the government is trying to take your rights and privacy away with each law they try to pass whether it is constitutionally acceptable or unconstitutional. What do you guys think of this?

Magic, if you're interested in this topic, check out this website link. Apparently the new XBOX coming out will have a mic and camera that you can not turn off even if the system if turned off. www.vigilantcitizen.comI always take things with a grain of a salt, but some disturbing things on that site if true. Interesting none the less tho

People in Europe and North America are too distracted by iPads, X-Factor, petty issues that distract them from real ones, Facebook, flat screen TVs, their college debts, fast cars etc. to give a shit.
And when they do finally look at the News they're presented with a carefully crafted version of reality which keeps them fighting amongst themselves and turns a blind eye to anything that might make people stand up for themselves.

I think this is pretty much the truth. It's not just about restricting, limiting and spinning information 1984 style. It's about drowning us in information so we don't know which way is up. So that even those who want to do something can't sort out the reality from the distractions. However that works both ways, I think the US government and the NSA is drowning itself in information. While I am very strongly against what they are doing, in a practical sense I don't think they can handle and sort such a massive amount of data. They are collecting thousands of haystacks in order to find hundreds of needles. I am not exactly worried about an all pervasive big brother that sees and knows all because that's not feasibly possible.
