Brooklyn trades:
85 Gerald Wallace $9,500,000 78 Vince Carter $3,135,000 - $3,270,000 2013 1st Round Pick (Portland) 2013 1st Round Pick (Clippers) 2014 2nd Round Pick (Indiana)
Total: $12,635,000
Philadelphia trades:
77 Thaddeus Young $8,039,130 - $8,600,000 - $9,160,869 - $9,721,739 77 Gerald Green $2,500,000 - $2,750,000 - $3,000,000 - $3,250,000 - $3,500,000 2015 2nd Round Pick (Oklahoma)
Total: $10,539,130
I accept. I gain more cap space, losing youth, but not losing talent, in fact I think I gain more talent here for now. 1st round picks are always welcome, I prefer 2014 but 2013 draft class I think may not be that bad. Wallace will be my new SF and Carter will be a good backup or maybe even start.
Projected Starting Five:
Nikola Pekovic Taj Gibson/Rashard Lewis Gerald Wallace Evan Turner/Vince Carter Ty Lawson

Interesting stuff going both ways. Philly shaves cap but gives the younger talent, so Philly gets a volume of picks back (though they're all later picks).
I think overall it works out to an accept for me.
