Orlando Trades: 81 - Eric Gordon :: $5,137,617 79 - Tyrus Thomas :: $8,000,000 - $8,694,215 - $9,388,429
Brooklyn Trades: 79 - Luis Scola :: $9,408,208 - $10,224,623 - $11,041,038 78 - Chris Andersen :: $4,526,000 - $4,818,000
I accept.
I can't resign Gordon, so I turn him into an upgrade at the Center until Val improves in the defensive minded "Birdman," and Scola, who may have a higher contract than Thomas, but he is far better to start at my PF. I have Landry Fields and Brewer to fill in at the SG.

I'm on the fence with this trade.
Eric Gordon will be expiring and Brooklyn does not have enough cap space to re-sign him. You are more likely to be giving up a decent starter in Scola and a solid role player in Anderson for a non existence in Tyrus Thomas with a bloated contract and a half a year rental of Gordon. I'll let other trade committee members weigh in on this. Blake, your GMing skills are vastly improving. Good job.

Billy are you aware that after the season Tyrus Thomas is likely going to get at least a 5 point rating decrease? Also if this trade were to go through you would have 9mil in cap space with Lopez, Gordon and Gerald Wallace all expiring. That's only enough room to sign one of those three.
Blake isn't getting such good players that this demands rejection but I hope there is a plan in Brooklyn for the issues created by this trade.

Once a trade is submitted you can no longer reject the trade. It is up to the trade committee members once the trade is accepted. I've had a bad experience with people going back on their word. Cough Blake cough

Reviewed the trade more carefully and took into account the risks I'd be taking and I'd like to go back on my word and reject this trade. Ok, so we do have this rule: SourceI guess we have to wait for Ian to make a decision and sort this out.

This is a terrible trade for ORL. No way should this be accepted.

An expiring Eric Gordon is worth more than both Scola and Birdman. Birdman is overpaid and easily rated too high. Scola's production doesn't fulfill his contract and he is an older player though doesn't really fit Orlando's mold.
Instead of getting rid of Gordon, ORL shoul be clearing cap space to resign him. Wasn't Hibbert and West moved in the trade for EG? Now EG is getting flipped for an energy bench guy and an aging, ineffective PF.

But Nets has not accepted it in public/on this board. So, he's allowed to just say no to this trade. Trade goes right into the trash bucket of Rejected Trades.

Record show that the Nets DID accept but deleted the acceptance. However, being the kind-hearted guy I am, I will allow the deal to be scrapped if it coincides with the rules. Me and Brooklyn will be renegotiating a new deal though, so it's all good.

I'm going to reject. This trade sucks for both teams involved. That kinda makes it "fair" then I guess, so I'd probably accept if the GMs were adamantly behind it, but they aren't. At this point nobody wants this trade to happen so I'll vote for the mercy killing it deserves.
