Splits: .590/.364 (on shot 0.3 attempts per game, made 4 total) / .675, which amounts to .622 TS%, nothing stellar when it comes to big man, ranks 62th in the league for players with at least 15 GP.
Zion had a lot of hype coming into the league but those days are gone, and so are his best seasons, a former all star now isn't even in the top 30, dare I say 40 for me personally player conversation, rating 160th in LEBRON mostly due to his defense, he has a -0.09 total LEBRON, a 1.18 offensive LEBRON and a -1.28 defensive LEBRON.
Don't get me wrong, Zion is still a great player, but instead of boosting other players up, we should recognize that Zion took a major step back, gone are the days where he'd average 27 points per game while shooting double the 3's and still having a higher FG%, and his defense took a step back after his injuries, and we should give him a new rating that reflects his non all star, non top player status.

Eh, no way. A slight decrease is warranted. 4 point decrease is crazy, especially when you all argue 4 points the opposite way is too much. He’s an 89 in 2k. I know you all don’t care about that, but I do.
Still putting up really good numbers, on really good fg%, on a respectable Pelicans team.
He’s still pretty much on par with where he’s always been, with a slight step back.

Still an impressive player albeit I don’t think the Duke version on defense is ever coming back. Offensively when he wants to try he can be an elite scorer.

Also, fwiw, right now in sim he is averaging 21.7 pts / 7.9 reb / 3.8 ast on 55%.
That’s not too far off where he is irl. His build seems very solid right now.

I think it’s just a reflection of his production which is pretty close. And I see your examples. There are absolutely outliers. |

To all of you voting 85 and below. Can you point out where to take 45 points away from his build? Legitimately curious where those will come from. I also think his pass and handling are a little low already, so where do you suggest it comes from?

That’s more than 4 overall rating points right there to bring it closer to 0 rating. |
