Don't get me wrong, Buddy Hield is still a good player doing his role of 3 point shooter with questionable defense, but he is not the same Buddy Hield that he was last year, his points per game dropped 25% from 16.8 to 12.7, and now last season, is officially the only season he has shot over 40% from 3 since 2019, that's 1 season in 5 years for a 3 point specialist who had been moved to the bench in favor of Bruce Brown until his recent trade to Toronto.
And has a 3 point shooter, where are all his points going? He hasn't scored this little since his rookie year, and he wasn't playing on a super fast paced offense then, his defense didn't magically get better at 31, his rebounds are pretty much what you'd expect of the average guy playing 26 minutes a game that has some falling his way, and even his assists have been this low since 2019. But it seems like we hit the timetable of where the idea of Buddy Hield is better than Buddy Hield.

Is such a weird way of saying last season he was the 2nd in NBA in total threes made 288 (Klay had 301) while shooting very good 42.5%. Only Klay and Steph were others in top 15 in the total threes made leaders who did it with higher than 40%.
If you didn't want to just spin a bad narrative, you could have said:
Last year he was top-3 three point shooter in NBA. This year the % is bit down.
Still imo basically the same player as before. IND is super deep in wings so his minutes are down from 31-->26 and he has lowest usage of his career. 81 is bit too high probably but 77 is imo too low also
