Lowry is still a great locker room guy, but as far as actually playing goes, he has took anoter big step back this season, specially on defense which ended up one of the major reasons why Miami traded him. He still has a really high BBIQ and is a good passer, but those stats aren't filling anyone's eyes in 28 minutes per game, he just isn't the same guy, and that's ok at 37 years old. Even last year after reaching the playoff he saw his role cut and was moved to bench after starting 80% of his regular season games, he started just 1 in the playoffs and saw his minutes cut down to 26 per game, in fact here's how Lowry did on offense during his last 2 playoff runs.
2022: 7.8 points per game on 29/24/79 splits (10 games, and yes they were really that bad)
2023: 9.2 points per game on 43/38/94 splits (23 games)
Simply put, Kyle Lowry isn't capable of creating his shot anymore, and when he does shoot it's usually open at the cost of someone's play, and with his defense constantly declining because nobody beats father time (except Lebron), this is something that's normal.
