Current rating: 85 If we disregard his recent injury which has hindering his stats, he’s putting together an improved season and is the engine to an improved Timberwolves team. They currently sit atop of the stacked Western Conference. This season: 23.6 pts / 5.5 reb / 5.2 ast Usage is up, minutes slightly down. Small playoff sample against the eventual champions: 31.6 pts / 5.0 reb / 5.2 ast For more a more in-depth look: www.basketball-reference.com/players/e/edwaran01.htmlReally unfortunate that his stats have dipped since his injury, including a dud of a game last night and a 4 minute showing before exiting last week. Regardless, he’s the man on a team destined for playoff success this year. Suggested rating: 89

I had 85.3 for last year & 87.8 for this year so far. I'll weigh 23 games for this year & 18 for last since we haven't made it halfway.

85 no change His stats are actually down this year and he’s way below league average TS%. Let’s not jump the gun here. Don’t think anybody is jumping the gun. I think it’s been 50+ games since his last stockwatch. And with the Wolves at the top of the West, it’s not egregious to put in an increase thread considering he’s the best player on the team 👍

This is a bit too early and statistically he’s been a bit down from last year — not to mention the Wolves ascent to the top is probably owed more to McDaniels and Gobert than whatever Edwards has done

I won't be voting until he's retired so that we can get the full view of his ability.

I don't get how we can watch basketball and collectively agree that James Harden is a 90 and Anthony Edwards is having a hard time getting people to vote above 86.
More and more it feels like our ratings are about 2 seasons behind where guys actually are. This isn't me complaining about the time it takes for the administration of ratings changes (thank you to everyone who makes this league work behind the scenes!). Just, we vote like we're doing a stock watch for the 2021 season.
Edwards is one of the best guards in the league. His leap is why his team has the best record in the league. And you guys can't even move him up.
For reference, the 2k ratings have Edwards as a 90 and Harden as an 86. I know we can't just use 2k ratings, but it would be nice if we actually started voting like we were voting on this season.

People are rightfully holding off stock watching Harden until there is a significant sample size of clippers games to rate him based on, and if a significant increase is the goal that should be the strategy for Ant because he’s in the midst of a rough stretch, his number are nearly identical to last season, and the current rating isn’t horrendously undervaluing him. My vote is an 87. Think his ability to impact a game outside of scoring isn’t well reflected by the stats.

I'll wait until I see some Playoff success before I'll go to an 89 or 90.
It's been over 20 NBA games so far so we're definitely not too early.

Maybe this democratic process moving at a glacial pace isn’t the best model for a dynamic game like basketball. The further along we get in the sim, the further behind it feels like we get. Maybe a hard reset would change that. But idk what that would even look like.

This season is not that great, but I'm taking end of last year and WC USA games also into consideration. Definitely has potential to go higher if his stats pick up again

Edwards is HIM on the best team in the league right now. Minus his injury and the games following immediately after, he’s been doing this all year.
It’s not too early. He’s not the same player.

Ant’s “road to 90s” check boxes:
- Playoff success - Boost his efficiency, 56% TS is nearly outside of the top 250 - maintain or continue improving on his playmaking (up to almost 25% assist percentage this year)
I’ll go 88
