Not trying to burst the bubble here, but Lou Will is an expiring deal and the deadline for trading him per the rules section has already passed.

Washington's future is looking bright enough for me to accept this deal, but yeah I'm really not sure why they're doing it.
I accept.

I suppose I feel similar-enough to Ian. One way or another, Washington's team looks solid enough that this shouldn't (SHOULDN'T) amount to an especially good pick.
And fwiw, KPJ has BRs so...I guess that helps.
I wouldn't do it if I was Washington but this isn't bad enough to reject.
Accept.

Contracts are ok so long as they aren't released after the Expiring Deadline (just so they can become a tradeable asset) I mean, you're the commish, so obviously what you rule here stands, but this is pretty clearly against the rules as they are currently written. "(In-Game Date) April 19th: Trade Deadline for all players with expiring contracts. No expiring players can be traded after April 19th (excludes Team Options, includes Player Options and released players (see Amare Stoudmire Rule))." The Amare Stoudemire Rule: Players on expiring contracts cannot be released after the Expiring Players Deadline (April 19th in-game)." The rule doesn't preclude the trading of "released players that were released after the expiring deadline." It precludes all expiring released contracts from being traded, and the Amare rule additionally prevents any expiring player from being released.

This trade works fine on next season's salaries. Washington will be way under the cap. So being able to trade expiring dead money is dumb and we should close that obvious loophole, but this trade doesn't rely on that.
So I accept. It looks like Washington might actually have something with their core. It's enough to project that the pick probably won't be a very high one, so it's unlikely to return someone better than KPJ who is still just 23 himself.

I should've just looked at next year's salaries.
