Current: 92 Proposed: 92 Requesting a re-work on Lebron because these need increasing: 68 Passing - Lebron has averaged 7.3apg for 20 seasons, he's the 4th highest assist-getter of all time, this rating is silly.
63 3PT - Lebron's having a shit shooting season at 32% but his career average is 35%. I don't think he suddenly forgot how to shoot after 20 years. His physical stats can be decreased, he's not in his prime-Miami days anymore: 88 Quickness 87 Jumping 97 Fatigue Side note: I just noticed the last two times Lebron got decreased ( 1, 2) it was his lord and saviour Hanamichi Sakuragi posting the threads lol.

Lakers catch-up to the playoff train when Lebron was out. There is something there.

Feels like a mistake to SW him now instead of after the playoffs where he usually thrives, specially for a 3 point shot. Lebron is barely a 35% shooter on just 5 attempts for his career and he is at 32% this year. He only had 1 season above 38% in 20 years and it was just on 3 attempts a game.
Lebron is below league average when it comes to 3 point % by a wide margin. Feel like people are getting too caught up on scoring ratings. lebron clearly doesn't deserve anything above 70, if anything I'd argue he should be closer to a 60.
That said, i think his rating should remain the same.

Rework at 92
Suggest the defensive stuff is cut more than the physicals — LeBron is sporting a top 10 DAware (92) that is above Paul George, Caruso, Herb Jones, Jrue Holiday, and Nic Claxton to name a few guys who are very good to elite level defenders.

Ratings reflect current statistics though. If LeBron was shooting 25% this year while being an historic 40% shooter, we wouldn't leave him in the 80-90 range for 3pt...
He's getting older so it's natural to see declining stats. He's a monster but he's not 28 year old LeBron any more. All this to say I don't really care what his historic averages are. Granted, we do take history into account in D5, but his 3pt rating needs to reflect what he's doing today.
In any case, I say 93. DAwr probably needs a hit but passing could use a raise

92(rework)
I can’t really understand the reasoning for this, historically he’s been a below average 3P shooter, and this year is even worse(32% is poor), if anything it should decrease, plus D5 Lebron is probably way better defensively than he is irl at this point, as others pointed out, there are legit elite defenders with worse defensive stats, his passing could use a boost though

I'm okay taking a look at him, but not sure I agree with some of this.
Our ratings reflect impact. Current impact. We can (and I am trying to) look at career averages so that we don't overreact to small samples, maybe allow the career average to keep a 35% shooter's 32% season up slightly higher...but he also shouldn't be rated at the 35% level, even if he is higher than the 32% level.
Reflecting current impact is also the reason we use for greatly-decreasing players who go play overseas. They aren't impacting the NBA, so we tank their ratings to match, so that they don't impact D5.
Our ratings are not a career-average basis. We process frequently, every year for most players, twice a year for many. So, if someone is shooting poorly, their rating should generally reflect that.
