91 Jimmy Butler $43,279,250 $46,525,194 $49,771,138 $53,017,081 $56,263,025
Total 43,279,250
Utah Trades
83 OG Anunoby $30,913,750 $33,232,281 $35,550,813 $37,869,344 $35,550,813 (Current Sw to 83) 2023 Miami 1st Round pick 2026 Utah 2nd Round pick
Andre Roberson $1,017,781
Nemanja Bjelica $1,017,781
Wayne Ellington $1,340,000 $2,330,000 $3,330,000
Shabazz Napier $1,017,781
Edmond Sumner $1,017,781 $2,035,562
Dwight Howard $1,700,000 $2,500,000
Total 37,007,093
This is compliant with the 125% rule. I accept this deal, my team has been losing a ton lately and I think this is a move that makes me a true title contender. It sucks to give up a top 10 pick in such a tantalizing class as well as Og who is only 25 and a top defender in the league, but I do not want to waste these last few years of Harden.

The Atlanta Hawks accept. This has been such a tough decision for us. Butler has been a favorite of mine since his days in IRL Chicago, Fox I've been following since he first arrived in Sacramento (and now I have somehow been co-opted onto this Beam team). It feels bad moving on from these players, but we're relatively at our ceiling now and feel its in the best interest of the Atlanta Hawks to move forward with a rebuild. Wish the best of luck to Butler, Jared and Utah Jazz going into this years playoffs and the years to come.

Atlanta was low key a championship contender 😬 They are. With Butler and Claxton on Defense and Powell and Fox on offense. They can interchange Claxton and Vucevic depending on the match-up. Even Butler and Powell can interchange. There main issue will be the lack of the right bench pieces.

Now Atlanta will try to rebuild and reach this level again. A level that is so hard to reach.

Well, I don't love this one either but at least there is a proven NBA player in the trade.
But...is he only ever going to be a low-80's starter? For Butler who is a star? Yes, there's also a 1st that is currently #6...
So very possibly this is like... OG Anunoby and something equivalent to, um..Colin Sexton(?) for Jimmy Butler?
I'm also not ready to vote here.
I won't lie, the fact Jay Z was super-duper unresponsive in this past off-season kind of worries me. Did any of us think Lauri was going to be THIS good? No, absolutely not. But he signed a pretty damn reasonable contract and from what I remember (I'm very possibly fallible in my memory) Jay either didn't make an offer or only did very very late in the process. I paid more for Richaun Holmes than he was willing on a young guy who fit in his starting lineup and general age-range. It looks bad.
Maybe I'm going too deep in my thoughts, but felt it was worth sharing them.
Jay, I like you and we've had dealings in the past, I'm not trying to slander you, I'm just expressing my concern with a manager blowing up a very good team and not, IMO, getting fantastic return.

3 lottery picks, #6, #9 and next year's clippers pick which is #10 right now, Atlanta's own first back, #15 this year and OG Anunoby isn't a fantastic return?

I think the real-life Kings would reject it tbh. Although Atlanta's first has way more value to him obviously. But, Jimmy too. Maybe I'm "down" on Anunoby. I think he's good but is he going to get opportunity to shine offensively? Or is he stuck as an 80-82 guy for 5 years or whatever, then slowly drops to high-70s, etc. He's good but he's an ancillary piece to a contending team imo. We are talking about a true legit superstar in Butler and someone who is putting himself close to that conversation in Fox. It's not just "good players". Hopefully for you the rest of the committee likes the pieces more than I do. And ftr, I have not rejected. I'm thinking.

Not sure if it’s fair to say but sure he’s an 83 rest of career. With a pick that is currently 6th right now and has been 4-8 range all season. Jimmy is 33 years old which if your gonna say OG never improves or will even drop to the high 70s, Jimmy is due to drop soon as well. I’m cool with whatever is voted by the TC because you guys are legends. Just wanted to get some input in before the votes. Jay Z been shopping Butler for 2 weeks and nobody according to him was willing to offer a high end lotto pick.

We see this all the time. People don’t like the return value of a star but nobody is willing to fork over any real value for them. Nothing to see here.

I love OG but I do think he's getting overrated here. I feel like ATL could get much better return for Jimmy. Bravo to Jared Montini picking up a 4th star player though. I accept.

The value for Atlanta here is the Miami pick. Multiple teams have jumped in the lower the last few years... If that jumps to the top 3 it's a great return for him
