I just feel like this is the right thing to do for me to give respect to what Zion has done to our franchise before things happen.

TS = 65.2%, #13 overall. Only 3 players are at the top 15 of TS with usage of 30% or more. Zion, Steph and KD.

His defense is improved. +0.3 DRaptor. eye-test also backs that up.

At the end of the day, my main argument is the fact that he carried New Orleans to the #1 seed in the West and the moment he was out, they are now #10 and currently at a 9 game losing streak.

I really don’t see a difference from this year and the last besides the fact that he’s missed a shit ton of games again. In 4 seasons he’s played 114 games out of a possible 299, and he’ll miss even more this season...

.608 / .368 / .714 - ftr. Also, only taking 0.7 3's a game so he won't get many points there. Which really just keeps his OVR down, for me.

Ast are up, REB are stagnant... stl/blk are very close to stagnant. I am too lazy currently to look at his current build, but 87 feels fine. Add more boards or more ast/stl/blk or a 3pt shot or improve the FT... anything like that will move my needle more.
